SPE is in compliance with all required operations and infrastructure conditions, which are as follows:

Street Tree Maintenance

SPE’s landscape service trims all studio perimeter trees annually, removes tree debris from the public right-of-way and provides landscaping in all publicly viewed areas.

Internal Combustion Engines

The studio continues to properly operate and maintain its five stationary internal combustion engines in accordance with all South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) permit conditions.

Catch Basins, Sewer Lines, & Manholes

During the past year, all storm drains on the SPS lot were cleared of debris. All sewer lines and manholes were inspected and found to be in good working order.

Human Resources Reporting

SPE reported to the City a total of 1,055 full-time corporate employees at the Sony Pictures Studios site. Of this number, sixty-six (66) employees were residents of Culver City and eighteen (18) residents were newly hired.
